I am a scientist who is passionate about innovative research and teaching. Areas of expertise include plant-insect interactions, chemical ecology, plant physiology, community ecology, plant defense, statistical analyses, and scientific writing and communication. My goal is to lead a research team in the discovery of mechanistic and ecological aspects of plant-insect interactions to inform our understanding of how plant defenses evolved and provide insights into sustainable approaches for protecting agricultural crops.
