Camila Hernandez
Camila is a recent Entomology graduate with a passion for research in plant-insect interactions and extension. She is committed to connecting researchers, growers, and the broader community to promote sustainable agricultural practices and integrated pest management. In her spare time, she draws, collects figures, and cares for her colony of Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
Thomas Lim
Thomas is a second-year undergraduate Biology major aspiring to become a physician who helps out those in underserved communities. He is interested in the role of plant and species interactions within agroecological systems. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, and lifting weights.
Adriane Mendoza
Adriane is a third-year undergraduate Plant Biology major who is passionate about contributing to crop research in sustainable agriculture. She is interested in integrated pest management by enhancing plants' natural biological defenses against herbivores. In her free time, she draws and cooks.
Joy Nguyen
Joy is a second-year undergraduate Microbiology major aiming to become a doctor or a medical researcher. She finds it interesting to see the amount of interactions that insects have with other organisms and how these organisms adapted to deal with these insects. In her free time, she likes to relax and watch shows.
Ricardo Vargas
Ricardo is a recent Biology graduate aspiring to become a physician who serves underserved communities. He is interested in the chemical, physiological, and behavioral interactions that shape living systems. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
